A graduate of Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with Magna Cum Laude honors, James Phelps achieved President’s List and Dean’s List recognition as well. The Amsterdam, New York native is former President of the Financial Management Association at Florida State and member of Finalist Group in the 2020 CFA Societies of Florida Ethics Challenge. Before joining Moran Wealth Management^®, James was an Equity Analyst Intern at QCI Asset Management. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and parents, golfing, working out, meditation and watching movies. A classic rock fan, his favorite book is The Big Short. James is excited to be a member of the MWM team, providing extraordinary support to our clients, he is Bloomberg Market Concepts Certified.
