Gavin Schell

Investment Analyst

An Investment Analyst with Moran Wealth Management^®, Gavin earned his B.S. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University where he was a member of the school’s Student Managed Investment Fund. He also previously spent six years in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

Gavin plays a critical role in helping clients at Moran make the best decision for their financial well-being as he researches, analyzes, and interprets real-time data relating to the markets, operations, and economics of the overall industry. Additionally, he assists in the development and maintenance of investment strategies to generate optimal financial advice and ongoing decision support.

A native of Irvine, California, Gavin holds dual citizenship in New Zealand. On his inspiration to achieve a career in finance, he abides by the quote from Benjamin Franklin that “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Gavin is proud to volunteer at FGCU’s Wasmer, Schroeder, & Company Bloomberg Terminal Laboratory and serve as role coordinator of the Bloomberg Lab volunteers.
