Moran Exits Wells Fargo’s FiNet to Launch $4 Billion RIA

Following fours years as a subcontractor under Wells Fargo’s independent broker dealer arm, FiNet, nationally recognized top advisor Thomas Moran has formed a new registered investment advisor in Naples, Florida.

The newly formed Moran Wealth Management®, with $4 billion in assets under management consists of 36 employees, led by Thomas Moran as Chairman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer, and is 100% employee-owned. Founded over 30 years ago, now three of the founder’s four children are part of the firm.

As a registered investment advisor, the firm can now further “prioritize the needs of our clients and our unwavering standard of excellence,” Moran said. “Embarking on this entrepreneurial journey is a critical step towards achieving our long-term vision as a true fiduciary for our clients,” he said.
