A seasoned industry veteran, Charlie has over 35 years of experience in investment and wealth management, institutional consulting, and accounting. He develops customized financial strategies for affluent individuals and families, guided by the depth and breadth of insight gained throughout his career. Charlie is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Economics from Lafayette College. He is also a proud alumnus of The Taft School.
Charlie began his professional journey as a CPA with KPMG in New York, gaining experience across a broad range of industries and client needs. He is currently a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. His career later progressed to The Bank of New York, where he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Client Relationship Manager, overseeing institutional small cap growth portfolios and advising high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining Moran Wealth Management®, Charlie was Director – Head of Global Equities and Senior Portfolio Manager at Honeywell International, where he managed the company’s Pension Plan assets in collaboration with senior executives.
Originally from Skillman, New Jersey, Charlie now lives in Naples with his wife, Julie. Together, they have four adult children. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, gardening, beach days, and time spent with family. He has served on the board and as Treasurer of the Barrington Club Homeowners Association in Pelican Bay, as well as on the Vestry at Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church in Naples. Charlie is passionate about causes that support families, children, and the local community, particularly through his involvement with church-led outreach and grants initiatives.
